Peace Project

Coming Fall 2025

The Peace Project provides prenatal & postpartum care to refugee women in their language and with respect to their culture.

Access isn’t easy

For New Americans, especially new mothers, getting affordable, accessible healthcare can be a daunting task. Complex systems, language barriers, and simply traveling to and from the doctor’s office often keep new mothers away from the care they and their child need.

Peace for refugee mothers

At Peace, we believe every mother deserves dignity, care, and support—no matter where she comes from. This low-cost care is dedicated to serving refugee mothers with compassion and respect. Through the Embrace maternal health program at Friends of Refugees, and in partnership with Ethnē Health, we offer expectant mothers wrap-around prenatal care in their own language and honor their culture—helping each woman walk her journey into motherhood with strength and hope.
