Inspire Change and Transform Lives

The road ahead for refugee families in America is not an easy one—especially in today’s shifting landscape. But history teaches us that when we extend a hand in service, when we equip our neighbors with the tools to succeed, we don’t just change individual lives—we strengthen the fabric of our entire community.

Our Philosophy of Ministry

We are a Christian community development organization, seeking to model Christ’s love in our mission and vision throughout our relationships in the community.

We learn from and work alongside all those in our community and celebrate the diverse backgrounds of our refugee and immigrant friends.

We develop meaningful relationships with refugees and their families over time to foster mutual understanding and a true community.

We aim to help without hurting through our consistent, reliable presence throughout the community.

We seek to empower communities of faith to become friends of refugees through ministering in a humble manner that honors others.

We strive to live out the calling of Scripture to love God and love our neighbor in all that we do.

Foundational Scriptures:

Matthew 22:37-40

37 Jesus replied: “‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’38 This is the first and greatest commandment. 39 And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ 40 All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments.”

John 15:13

13 Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one’s life for one’s friends.
